Cafes
CHEZ PAPA
Just steps from the Port de l’Arsenal, this Parisian café with a Basque spirit brings together local artisans, customers and neighbourhood residents in a warm atmosphere, enhanced by bespoke green pendant lights, large chandeliers and wall lights.
Along the Port de l’Arsenal promenade, this Parisian café embraces a convivial spirit inspired by the Basque Country, combining warm materials, generous volumes and the welcoming atmosphere of a true neighbourhood gathering place. A genuine local meeting point, it welcomes customers and craftspeople from nearby workshops at lunchtime, before becoming, in the evening, a favourite destination for neighbourhood residents gathering for a drink or dinner by the port. To complement this identity, GAU LIGHTING PARIS developed a collection of bespoke lighting: green pendant lights animate the bar, large chandeliers define the dining room, and several wall lights from the GAU LIGHTING PARIS collection bring a soft, warm glow to the walls. Conceived as an integral part of the interior, these lighting pieces reinforce the café’s welcoming atmosphere and highlight its character—distinctly Parisian, informal and inspired by the Basque art of living.
