Eric Schmitt's art bridges the gap between design and sculpture, but he also likes to meander and experiment cutting-edge tech processes to better shape his signature lean and pure lines.

About

His workshop adjoining the Fontainebleau forest provides the cradle where he drafts and shapes his designs. Entrusted craftsmen are later in charge of their manufacturing prior to returning to the workshop for the finishing touches. Eric Schmitt has his own way of revisiting the French tradition of Decorative Arts and his pieces are most often released as limited editions.

It only seemed natural to begin a collaboration with a family of bronze artwork experts, now spearheads in the design of contemporary lighting fixtures.
